Mulderrigs recently settled a case for a woman who was injured in a motorcycle accident involving a careless motorist.

Mrs Alexander was riding pillion on her husband’s classic Triumph Bonnerville motorcycle when a Porsche driving in the opposite direction lost control and swerved directly into their path.

Luckily, Mr Alexander reacted quickly and was able to avoid a head on collision. Unfortunately however, the Porsche collided with Mrs Alexander’s right foot which bore the brunt of the impact.

The accident left Mrs Alexander with a fractured great toe which may require surgery in the future to fuse the bone together.

The driver of the Porsche quickly admitted liability and Mulderrigs secured Mrs Alexander an out of court settlement of £20,000.
