The Law On Hair Damage Claims
All hairdressers have Mulderrigs have a legal duty to take care for the safety of their clients.
And as part of that duty careful skin tests should be carried out before dangerous hair products are applied to a client’s hair.
We have dealt with hundreds of successful claims against negligent hairdressers.
So we took on Lisa’s claim against the hairdresser and her insurers and agreed to act on “no win no fee” terms.
Suing a hairdresser can be complicated business.
But we obtained a helpful report from a hair expert (a trichologist) about the damage to Lisa’s hair.
The expert said that the proper skin tests hadn’t been carried out, the bleach had been left on for too long and too much heat had been applied.
The insurers for the negligent salon admitted liability once they saw the expert evidence.
We then helped Lisa recover £5,000 in compensation for the damage.
