An accident working with a trampoline

Miss Cheesborough is a young girl who had a part-time job at a sports centre. She was sent to dismantle a large trampoline without any assistance, even though she'd had no proper training. The trampoline collapsed on her and she suffered an injury to her wrist. We took on the case against the sports centre and helped our client recover over £4,000.00 in compensation.

Cleaner pricked by dirty needle

Mrs Jameson was a hospital cleaner in Gtr Manchester who was pricked with a discarded needle that had been put in a waste bin.  Fortunately, she suffered no lasting damage, but she suffered a very worrying few months whilst she was tested for all sorts of possible infections. We took on her case against the Health Trust and helped her to get £1,600.00 in compensation.

A collapsing car jack

Mr Makinson  from Lancashire suffered a nasty wrist injury when a car jack collapsed whilst he was changing a wheel on his car. The car was almost brand new, and he was using the manufacturers jack exactly as the manual suggested. It looked like the only possible explanation for the accident was that the jack was defective, so we agreed to take on his case. The manufacturers denied responsibility for the accident and the case looked very difficult, but we recently negotiated a settlement of £4,500.00 for our client.

"It fell off the back of a lorry!" - Mrs Williams was just walking down the road in Manchester minding her own business when a large metal girder fell off a truck as it drove past her. She suffered a very nasty crushing injury to her foot. We took on her case against the lorry driver and his company, and helped our client recover damages of over £25,000.00.

(The names of our clients have been changed).
