Rossendale Rays Swimming Club
Mulderrigs are proud supporters and "hands on helpers" of Rossendale Rays Multi Ability swimming club in Rossendale, Lancs(Charity No:1118428).
The club was founded in 2004 and provides swimming activities for both adults and children with learning difficulties and profound physical challenges. Paul is pictured above with one of our star members, Corey Scott.
Paul says "Seeing our members in the water is truly inspirational, and we are delighted to help the Rays in any way we can. The Rays are entirely self-funded, and running the club is very expensive so any fund raising efforts and/or donations are always very, very welcome.
"We are always keen to attract new members and volunteer helpers and anyone who is interested is welcome to come along any Sunday afternoon.
The club meets at Marl Pits pool in Rawtenstall, Lancs every Sunday from 3.30-5.30PM

Paul says "We staged our Third Annual Rays Bike Ride in June 2010. This time we took on the 200 mile Coast & Castles route from Newcastle to Edinburgh and raised a fab total of over £5,000.00 for the club."
How did we get involved with the Rays? Oh, that would be something to do with a young whippersnapper called Caspar Mulderrig, pictured below having a splash with Paul at Daytona Beach in 2009!
Previous events for the Rays have included coast-to-coast cycle rides in 2008 and 2009 raising over £2500.00 each and a black tie ball in September 2007 which raised a massive £15,000.00!
