£85,000.00 compensation for injured biker

Mr Hilsden was riding his Suzuki motorbike along a main road in Greater Manchester when a careless driver pulled out of a nearside junction, swiping him off the bike.

Our client suffered very severe injuries to his left leg. The accident came at a particuarly bad time because out client was a student at the time and he ended up graduating a year later than planned.

He was recommended to Mulderrigs by one of our old clients and we took on the claim against the car driver on "no win no fee" terms.

The insurers admitted liability and after we had gathered all the expert medical evidence we recently helped our client recover damages of £85,000.00 for his injuries.

If you need some advice about a motorcycle accident please don't hesitate to call us on 0800 0523 693 or contact us online.

Biker wins £22,500.00 following roundabout collision

Mr Vincent is an advanced motorcyclist and he was involved in an accident on his way home from work. He was riding home on his BMW when a careless driver failed to give way at a roundabout and ploughed into him.

Our client suffered injuries to his hips, neck, back and shoulders.

We took on the case against the careless motorist and quickly proved that she was at fault.

We then gathered  expert medical evidence to support our client's claim.

The insurers for the other driver wouldn't negotiate sensibly, so court proceedings were issued and we have just helped our client settle his claim for over £22,000.00 in compensation.

Insurers admit liability in injured footballer's claim

Mr Gilliam suffered a serious injury as a result of a bad foul during an amateur game in Hampshire in September 2010.

He had cleared the ball and the ball had been gone a long time when he was "wiped out" by a dangerous challenge from an opposing player.

The incident left our client with a badly broken leg and he had to have surgery to insert metalwork to correct the fractures. He was away from work for monhts and had major financial problems as a result.

In his report to the league the referee described the incident as  "...a late, dangerous lunge."

We took on Mr Gilliam's claim against the insurers for the opposing player on "no win no fee" terms, and we are deliighted that the insurers recently admitted liability for the incident.

We will now gather all the necessary expert evidence, and we will be able to help our client get the compensation he deserves for his injury and his loss of earnings.

If you need some advice about a  football injury claim please don't hesitate to call us on 0800 0523 693 or contact us online.

Did you hear the one about the Justice Minister & the Claims Management Company?

Justice minister Jonathan Djanogly got a bit of coverage in The Guardian and The Telegraph this week.

He's the minister with responsibility for clamping down on the "compensation culture" only it turns out that his children owned shares in a so-called "Claims Management Company"....You know - the kind of people who want to find out if you've had an accident so they can try to sell your details to a lawyer for hundreds of pounds.

These companies produce nothing, they add thousands of pounds to the cost of claims and they leave the whole business of personal injury claims looking  grubby.

They should be banned altogether - it's that simple.

Apparently the minister's children sold the shares at weekend ....So that's alright then.
