Mrs Stenson was a keen football fan and followed her team home and away. She was leaving the stadium of a prominent south coast club after a game when she was involved in a serious accident.
The car park at the ground should have been in "lock down" immediately after the game, but a careless motorist decided to try to leave and knocked our client down, causing very serious injuries.
The driver and his insurers initially denied responsibility for the accident but, of course there were lots of independent witnesses and we quickly proved that he was completely to blame.
We then gathered all the medical evidence regarding our client's injuries and settled her claim in October for £400,000.00.

You may have read about Lord Young's proposals to crack down on the so-called "compensation culture" by imposing a ban on advertising for personal injury claims.
It may seem like a case of turkeys voting for Christmas, but we think Lord Young is partly right!
We think Lord Young should:-
Completely ban "claims management" companies from advertising for personal injury claims. They add nothing to the process.
Completely ban the payment of referral fees from solicitors to "claims management" companies and other non-solicitors.
However, a blanket ban on advertising would deny access to justice for many thousands of people who have a legitimate need for expert legal advice.
We believe that advertising of personal injury services should be restricted to solicitors who are members of the Law Society's Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme. That would immediately slash the number of "claims" adverts on TV and, above all, guide the public in the direction of properly qualified expert solicitors.
We were lucky enough to meet Jake Berry MP recently to discuss Lord Young's proposals. Jake is the new MP for Rossendale & Darwen and he tabled questions in the House of Commons to get clarification of Lord Young's plans.

The Clarets dented QPR's promotion challenge in Saturday's 1-1 draw, and also became the first team this season to get on the scoresheet in a league game at Loftus Road.
But the highlight of the day was the QPR Tigers.
The Tigers are a team of youngsters with Downs' Syndrome, organised by QPR in the Community. They were celebrating the second birthday of the club on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed the noisy attention of the crowd!
